Article 5 — prohibited practices.
Article 6(1) — both boxes must be ticked for this route to apply. AI used solely for user assistance, performance optimisation, service efficiency, automation, convenience or quality control is not a safety component, unless its failure or malfunctioning would endanger health or safety.
Annex III — the eight listed high-risk areas.
Article 50 — transparency duties. They are additive: they stack on top of any high-risk obligations, and they are split between provider and deployer.
